Climate Project Development

Incredible
High Visibility
Dive into the world of climate project development, a cutting-edge approach to financing sustainable initiatives that could shape our planet's future. Imagine being at the forefront of climate action. That's exactly what carbon project development offers.
One of the most promising areas for climate project development in Indonesia is the blue-carbon sector. Blue carbon refers to the carbon captured and stored by coastal and marine ecosystems. Indonesia, with its extensive coastline and abundant mangrove forests, seagrass beds, and tidal marshes, is a blue-carbon powerhouse. Embarking on a blue-carbon project in Indonesia is an exciting venture, but it requires careful planning and execution.
Site Assessment: Identify suitable areas with significant blue carbon potential and conduct baseline studies to measure current carbon stocks.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with local communities, government agencies, and NGOs to ensure the project aligns with national and regional development plans.
Project Design: Develop a comprehensive plan for ecosystem restoration or conservation and establish clear, measurable objectives for carbon sequestration.
Financing: Explore funding options, including carbon credits, grants, and private investments, to create a sustainable financial model for long-term project viability.
Implementation: Execute the project plan, focusing on ecosystem restoration or protection, and implement monitoring systems to track progress and carbon sequestration.
Verification and Certification: Engage accredited third-party verifiers to assess carbon sequestration and obtain the necessary certifications for carbon credit issuance.
Our Investment Strategy

Feasibility Study
Assessment of the technical, environmental, and financial viability of the project to ensure its potential for success and alignment with climate goals.

Carbon Project Registration
Formal submission of the project to a recognized standard or registry to establish its eligibility for generating carbon credits.

Project Design Document (PDD)
Creation of a comprehensive document detailing the project's objectives, methodologies, baseline emissions, and expected impacts to support validation and approval.

Validation, Verification, and Issuance
Independent evaluation to confirm project adherence to standards, verification of achieved emission reductions, and issuance of certified carbon credits

Carbon Credit Sales
Monetization of verified emission reductions through the trading or selling of carbon credits to offset emissions or meet compliance obligations.
Our Project
Project Overview
Project Genesis – South Barito Kapuas seeks to preserve and restore an estimated 39,853 ha of dryland and peatland ecosystem.
The Project will:
- Avoid 28,363 ha of forest clearing and conversion to an industrial forestry plantation.
- Avoid 8,824 ha of peatland degradation through the conservation of these wetlands and avoidance of conversion to an industrial forestry plantation.
- Reforestation of 195 ha of non-forest areas back into natural forest.
Project Mission
To combat deforestation and degradation by restoring and conserving ecosystems in a historically impacted area. We address challenges from past land use, infrastructure, and fires by focusing on habitat preservation, reforestation, and sustainable management. Our mission is to protect the environment, enhance biodiversity, and support local livelihoods through effective conservation efforts.
